Quick News

A lot of you know I've just entered my second trimester with our last child.

Friday night, I started bleeding and cramping; I was whisked to the hospital and diagnosed with total placenta previa. I've been sentenced to bedrest and hydration, and for how long I don't know.

Basically, if I reach a point where the li'l girl is viable and not too preemie, I will be having a c-section (which clears up which of us will be getting their tubes tied rather neatly).

She's okay, though. She was sucking her thumb on the ultrasound. I'm fairly okay, wobbly, very tired, frustrated - and hungry. I'm trying NOT to crave meat, but it's hard.

Sol's been lovely (of course). His mother has the two external daughters at her house, since I can't lift anything over 10 pounds and Meghan has far exceeded that; we'll see how we wrangle things when she has to go back to work.

I've got an OB appointment on Tuesday anyways - might be sooner when I call them on Monday.

Lots of love, people. At least this gives me a chance to read more.

Some news:
US deserter doesn't qualify as refugee, Canadian court says
Needless to say, I'm bleakly amused by "fair and independent justice in the US". Do the Immigration and Refugee Board never look south?

Here's a question.

Has anyone actually ever been converted by a Chick tract?
